What does the American College of Sports Medicince suggest we should be lifting?
Teach Me PT offered a structured in-depth approach to their level 2 and 3 personal trainers course. The 6 month part time course allowed me to gain experience in the industry whilst completing continual assessment of my knowledge gained from the course. The relaxed laid back approach to learning helped me gain the confidence and knowledge I needed to apply my skill set more effectively to the athletes I work with on a daily basis.

I achieved my Level 3 Personal Training Qualification with TeachMe PT. I was working part time as a fitness instructor, and needed to progress my career and so enrolled with TeachMe PT and studied the part time route way. The tutors were very supportive and always just one call away to help with any queries. I would highly recommend this course to anyone looking to become as successful as I have. I now work as a self employed PT, and have been featured in the Mens Health November 2012 edition.

I studied the part time Diploma in Fitness Instructing and Personal Training because it fitted with my lifestyle as a professional footballer. I loved the course format because I could attend on Sunday’s on my day off and within 3 months I was qualified to work in a gym and earn some extra money. I have now retired from full time football and I am working as a sports tutor. I have to thank the Professional Footballers Association because they have been kind enough to pay for me to do this.
MARK BEESLEY, SPORTS TUTOR.
After 14 years working in the hospitality industry, it was a big decision for me to change my career and move into personal training. There were a lot of providers out there. I chose to study with TeachMe PT after meeting and seeing another TeachMe PT graduate the year before and was amazed at how successful their business had become. I wasn’t disappointed. TeachMe PT provided a quality intensive training course, providing a comprehensive theory content and then showed me how to practically apply it.
LUCIE RICHES, CITY CENTRE PT.
I studied this course in 2009 and it opened up a new world for me. I am a personal trainer at David Lloyd and was fitness coach at Oldham Athletic last season. I have competed for GB in triathlon which the personal training course gave me motivation for. The teaching is second to none and it is a great course to open your own personal training business.
LEE STEELE, STRENGTH & CONDITIONING COACH
I studied Sport at 6th Form, but I knew that I didn't want to go to university and study for a degree. I play rugby to a good standard and love lifting weights. Speaking to TeachMePT just confirmed what I already felt - I wanted to be a Personal Trainer! The course was excellent and I learnt so much. I couldn't have asked for more motivating or enthusiastic staff. It was exactly what I expected from this type of course. I was working part time in a supermarket while I was in 6th Form. But I applied for a job as a Part Time Gym Instructor as soon as I finished the TeachMePT course and I got it. I was so happy! My role involves doing gym inductions and writing programs for members. But because the gym has leisure facilities, I sometimes have to supervise those activities as well. I had experience training real personal training clients while on the course and I am allowed to train them outside of my shifts. So I am gradually building up my client base as well as having regular paid income. Thank you TeachMePT!
Football can be a uncertain at times when you don't know where the next contract is coming from. I studied with TeachMePT last season and it has been very rewarding. I am planning to open a business in David Llloyd personal training and am going to take my first teaching certificate soon. It gives you choices, which after being in football all my life is important. I am now looking at a new career and it is an exciting time for me. The knowledge you gain is fantastic and the tutors really helped us at all times. Nothing is ever too much trouble.
CHRIS HOLROYD, MACCLESFIELD TOWN FC
I studied the full time Personal Trainer Diploma. The teaching was in depth, hands on and clear to understand. I was really impressed by the quality of the teachers and facility. The course material and workbooks were very useful tools for reading around topics covered in class and provided everything needed for futher study. The tutors were always on hand to discuss my career opportunities and next steps after the course. I have just graduated and I have already started Personal Training.
I was very impressed with TeachMePT having spoke to them on one of their open days. The teaching staff went out of their way to help me understand the theory and practical lessons. The course was very well organised and enjoyable. The best bit for me was how willing the staff are to share their personal career experience. It really gave me an insight into how the industry works and what I needed to do to succeed.
